There’s an actually substantial post coming tomorrow but I want to be very clear about this.
I will never monetize this newsletter.
I have previously and do plan on making more shitpost style content for this newsletter but I do also seriously discuss serious topics and I feel profoundly uncomfortable with financial gain in any way from the latter.
This isn’t a judgement on anyone who chooses to monetize their content where they do discuss serious topics and do not use this post as proof that I am better than those people because I understand that we live in a society and people need to keep their lights on.1
At the moment I am financially secure, I do not need your money. If you feel like parting with your money for a good cause, consider donating to the Ukrainian war effort through United24, Dzyga’s Paw, or ComeBackAlive. If you’re feeling a little braver, poke around on social media, do your research to make sure they’re legit, and then donate to one of the many Ukrainian soldiers crowdfunding for their units.
If they’re actually grifters, fuck those people
